Tonight on Off The Ball, we'll talk to John Giles about the bright new thing for Irish soccer, Jack Grealish.

But when it comes to eligibility, Middlesbrough's Chelsea loanee Patrick Bamford is in a similar boat.

The 17-goal striker in 2014-15 has represented Ireland at U18 level before switching to England's youth ranks.

However judging from comments he made to Talksport, he could be tempted back into the green jersey.

"My mum's side is Irish and my dad's side is English so it was a tough decision for me. Being English, it was always my dream to play for England, but I am not going to rule out either option," he said.
