Villarreal are definitely becoming David Moyes' bogey team. The La Liga side stopped his Everton side reaching the Champions League group stages a decade ago and gave him his first defeat as Real Sociedad manager when they thrashed his side 4-0 before Christmas.

Tonight, the Yellow Submarine gave him that familiar sinking feeling. The ex-Manchester United boss was sent to the stands during tonight's 2-2 draw in the Copa del Rey for having a go at the referee.

While the result meant Real Sociedad were eliminated from the Spanish cup on aggregate, at least there was something tasty waiting for him in the Anoeta stands. 

In fairness, former Real Sociedad and Ireland striker John Adridge did warn him about the food.
