Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has remained coy about a possible pursuit of Scott Sinclair.
Villa are being heavily linked with a move for Manchester City's forgotten winger.
It is understood that the former Swansea player is looking for a move this January having made just a handful of appearances in his two years at City.
But when asked about a potential deal, Lambert was playing his cards close to his chest, adding that the club owner would back any "feasible" deals.
"He's a good player but he's Manchester City's player. If I can bring one or two in this window and it's feasible, then I'm pretty sure Randy [Lerner] would be fine," said Lambert.
