Lyon youngster Clement Grenier was a subject of my Scouting Report a while back, and although one brilliant finish is not a definitve sign of potential, the truth is he's a bit special.

Being French and only 22-years-old, predictably Arsene Wenger has had a look at the France cap. But the attacking midfielder chose to extend his Lyon contract until 2016, suggesting that when he does move abroad, he hopes his club can make a profit. A mature attitude there, mixed in with a bit of loyalty that's getting rarer in the sport. 

If you missed it, Grenier scored a peach of a goal last week against Real Madrid in  a pre-season draw. Taking a cross on with a deft volley, he managed to find the top corner. But what made the goal great to watch was the 'no look' aspect...
