Most people have an opinion when it comes to choosing who is the world's best footballer.

In the present era, we are presented with two clear options: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

There is a clear dichotomy. Messi is the intelligent schemer who operates as a cog within Barcelona's team, breaking records with what appears to be consummate ease. Small and unassuming, he is the type of child any parent would like to have.

That's more or less what Blatter had to say about the little Argentine who he also called "Leonardo Messi" when speaking to Oxford Union.

But then he did a very bizarre impersonation of Cristiano Ronaldo's on-field persona.

To quote him, the FIFA president said something along the lines of "Baw Baw Bwawawaa (sic)", while shuffling strangely on the stage.

He did switch back from gibberish to human speech, joking that "Ronaldo has more expenses for the hairdresser." 

Real Madrid have demanded an apology for the comments made by Blatter. 

Clearly Blatter does not expect to fall back on his fledgling impersonation career, as he has already hinted that he may stand for FIFA's Presidency again.
