Usain Bolt has admitted that the recent doping scandals are a blight on athletics, but the 100 sprint icon insists he is clean.
The fastest man in history was speaking in London ahead of competing at the Anniversary Games tomorrow and Saturday at the Olympic Stadium.
But with controversy returning to athletics in the shape of sprint rivals Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay testing positive for banned substances, Bolt moved to discuss the speculation.
He said his record clearly shows that he has always been "destined for the top".
Bolt is one of a very short list of 100 metre record holders who have never tested positive for banned substances.
