There’s no Tommy Bowe or Rory Best in Ulster’s team to face Toulon this weekend. Craig Gilroy is also absent.
Darren Cave will play his 150th game for the Northerners tomorrow as the province take on the hat-trick-chasing champions in the European Rugby Champions Cup at Stade Mayol (3:15pm).
The game will be broadcast live on Newstalk.
Ulster’s XV sees seven changes and two positional switches to the side that beat Treviso in Italy last Sunday.
Jared Payne starts at fullback for the first time this season while Louis Ludik moves to the right wing in place of Bowe.
Cave is selected at outside-centre and will be partnered in midfield by Stuart Olding.
ULSTER (v Toulon): J Payne; L Ludik, D Cave, S Olding, M Allen, P Jackson, R Pienaar; A Warwick, R Herring, B Ross, A O’Connor, F Van der Merwe, C Ross, M McComish, R Wilson (c). Replacements: J Andrew, C Black, D Fitzpatrick, L Stevenson, R Diack, P Marshall, I Humphreys, M Heaney.
The Ulster team is so awful looking I can't even look at it.
