Irish mixed-martial arts fans can keep tuning in to see the biggest events that the UFC has to offer.

It comes after BT Sport announced that they have renewed UFC rights for the Republic of Ireland.

BT Sport is available as part of the eir Sport pack.

The renewal of the existing broadcast partnership sees the channel broadcast over 150 hours of live UFC events a year, while also retaining the exclusive live rights in the Republic of Ireland.

"We are thrilled that we can continue to offer UFC to our customers. It has really exploded in popularity here over the past few years with more and more sports fans appreciating the skills that make up MMA. eir Sport is the only place Irish fans can see the best the UFC has to offer," said eir Sport Operations Director Brian Quinn.

"It’s a hugely exciting time in the UFC with Irish fans particularly looking forward to the August re-match of Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz which is huge news in MMA. You won’t miss a second of the action on the eir Sport pack and you can get it for free if you are an eir broadband customer."
