Team Sky have included two Irish cyclists in their team for this year's Giro d'Italia.

Nicolas Roche will be joined by Philip Deignan in the nine-strong squad for the first Grand Tour race of the year, which starts in the Netherlands on Friday.

Mikel Landa has been designated as team leader for Team Sky, having finished third last year.

Roche finished 30th in the General Classification for the 2014 Giro d'Italia.

Deignan was 43rd at that year's Giro, which started off in Ireland for the first three stages.
