Oh dear. This ad seems to go against everything parents and teachers have been working hard at since the beginning of time. To promote learning and to make it fun and exciting for children. The world we live in, science, nature and the environment are all amazing and fascinating things we should all know more about.
Unfortunately this ad sends the opposite message. Learning is boring. Science is lame. And who needs nature?
The Toys R Us description on YouTube is: Watch as Toys"R"Us surprises some lucky kids by letting them pick any toy in the store. Toys"R"Us is making wishes come true this holiday season. #WishinAccomplished.
Yeah #WishinAccomplished Toys R Us. That's if your wish is to anger and alienate half your demographic and have your hashtag trending for all the wrong reasons.
Thanks, @ToysRUs! You've portrayed what's wrong with our generation so well. Who needs nature, right? :| http://t.co/Jty3PpsB5L

Apparently @ToysRUs is sending the message kids should choose toys over nature. We disagree: http://t.co/92ajcuwOPk #wishinaccomplished?

Join us in protesting the #WishinAccomplished @ToysRUs commercial - it teaches kids that nature is boring & horrible. They should be ashamed
