The Tour de France goes through its longest stage today, as the riders go up against a 242 km route, culminating in a mountain top finish.
Today is Bastille Day and the Tour organisers have ensured a spectacle to match the day, with a brutal 13 mile climb up Mount Ventoux to the finish line.
Chris Froome holds on to his yellow jersey, ahead of Bauke Mollema, who sits 2 minutes 28 seconds back, and Alberto Contador, who is in third spot and 2 minutes 45 seconds behind Froome.
