Champion jockey Tony McCoy has suffered a nasty facial injury after a fall at Wetherby.
He sustained the injury after falling from the Jonjo O"Neill-trained Mr Watson.
But despite requiring hospital treatment, McCoy will ride through the pain barrier at Ascot today.
And he reassured fans on Twitter last night, describing his injury as "superficial":
Thanks for the messages my injury is very superficial just broke a few teeth and needed some stitches will be back 2 work tomorrow. — AP McCoy (@AP_McCoy) November 2, 2012
