Mickey Harte is to remain in charge of Tyrone for at least another two years.

The three-time All Ireland winning manager has agreed a two-year extension that will see him continue with the senior footballers up until the end of the 2017 season.

For the first time since his appointment in 2002, Harte did not already have an extension to his management tenure in place.

Also last night, the Tyrone county board re-appointed the Under-21 management team of Fergal Logan, Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher for a further two years.
