Only one side carries Ireland's Heineken Cup hopes after the dust settled on the quarter-finals.
That side is Munster who brushed Toulouse aside in a six-try mauling at Thomond Park and with a semi-final against Toulon to look forward to later this month, we were joined by flanker Tommy O'Donnell.
He believes the loss against Leinster had a positive effect on Munster.
"I think we really under-performed and we didn't give the true showing of what Munster are capable of against Leinster so we had a real point to prove because our form has been good in the Heineken Cup. We knew if we went out and executed the way we wanted to, we'd have a good chance," said O'Donnell.
He also discussed the pressure points which Munster targeted against their French opponents.
"We knew that 70 per cent of their tries came from their back three and loose play. So it was a team we couldn't kick loosely to. But we knew that if we really took them on and brought them into the set pieces and rucks, that we really had a chance."
Munster face another tough task when they face Toulon on April 27th and O'Donnell is under no illusion about the difficulty of the challenge to come.
"We really have to knuckle down and bring the Thomond Park intensity to Marseille," he said.
