The 16/1 shot Shanahan's Turn has won the Tote.com Galway Plate, today's feature at the Galway Races.

The Henry de Bromhead trained 7-year-old produced a strong front-running performance under jockey Jonathan Burke to win the Grade A Handicap Chase convincingly by five and a half lengths.

Second was The Paparrazi Kid, with Sadler's Risk in third and Alderwood claiming fourth.
