ESPN's John Brewin joined Joe on Off the Ball last night to look back on the weekend's action in the FA Cup and the Premier League.

Aston Villa's 2-1 win over Liverpool in Wembley on Sunday evening was the most surprising result of the week.

John spoke on The Football Show about how Sherwood seems to have gotten the best out of Christian Benteke, Fabian Delph, Charles N'Zogbia and Jack Grealish.

Benteke is a "player who needs to be motivated" and has reacted to Tim Sherwood's managerial style since the former Tottenham maanger took over at the Birmingham club.

"Rodgers and Gerrard are perhaps not the closest partnership in football", according to Brewin speaking about Villa's opponents Liverpool on Sunday.
