The most anticipated fight in recent boxing history between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao is taking place in nine days time, but tickets for the event will only go on sale later today.
Around 1,000 tickets starting at just over €1,400 will go on sale at 8pm this evening, for the fight that has been years in the making.

Despite tickets only going on sale this evening, pay per view outlets in the United States have been selling the May 2nd fight which will cost US viewers over €90 to buy.
The fight is to take place in the 17,000 capacity MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with tv companies, fight promoters, sponsors, the fighters family and friends due to get the majority of the tickets.
For any fans who dont get their hands on a golden ticket, cheaper tickets costing around €140 will also be on sale for fans to watch the fight on a big screen in the Las Vegas hotel.
Mayweather goes into the welterweight fight looking to preserve his 100% record with a 47-0 record. Pacquiao is the more experienced fighter with a record of 57-5-2.
