The second trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron has debuted online and if there were ever any questions about the second film being a little darker than the first, this certainly answers them.
Joss Whedon again takes over directorial duties for the second film which will feature a pretty dark villain named Ultron who we get a pretty good glimpse of here.
Here's the plot according to Marvel:
When Tony Stark jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as they battle to save the planet from destruction at the hands of the villainous Ultron.
The usual crew are back including the world's highest paid actor, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo with the addition of the brilliant Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader (who just doesn't get enough screen time in general) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
The release date is May 1st 2015.
