New York Giants won their first game of the NFL season last night, defeating the Washington Redskins 32-21.
Despite the win for the Giants the game will be best remembered for a 101-yard kick return from Washington's Rashad Ross. Both teams now have a 1-2 record after three games.
After the game, Ross was delighted with the contribution of his teams blockers to help him get the six points. He told Washington's official website; "Without the blocks nothing is possible and it shows through the game. Everyone has to do their part so it can end how it did in a touchdown. So I’ve got to credit all ten players for making their blocks and me just reading off their blocks and doing the best I could to score.”
