The Rugby World Cup kicked off tonight with England taking on Fiji at Twickenham.
As is the case with most of the biggest events in world sport, the opening ceremony took over social media and our televisions for the hour leading up to the game.
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton along with Prince Harry and even the Bull Hayes were in attendence for the opening game.

There were some very artistic displays during the ceremony, not least this one.
One of the most impressive design features we have seen at a sporting event. They did not leave the field like this for the opening game.. and that's not a real rugby ball.
