It's two wins from two so far for the Irish boxers in action today in the quarter-finals of the European Elite Championships in Bulgaria.
Michael Conlan and Dean Walsh are both now guaranteed to return home with at least a bronze medal after their wins.
Conlan was the first of the Irish fighters into the ring today and he beat his Danish opponent Frederick Jensen to reach the semi-finals of the bantamweight division, while Walsh also secured his first medal at a major championship less than an hour later when he defeated Hungarian fighter Georgian Nyeki.
Adam Nolan and Joe Ward will be looking to make it a clean sweep for the Irish squad when they take part in the evening session, which gets underway at 6 pm, Irish time.
