Recently retired Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has made the shortlist for FIFA's Coach of the Year award.
Former Chelsea interim boss Rafa Benitez, as well as current manager Jose Mourinho are also up for the prize.
Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger is the other Premier League boss named in the Top 10 of world managers.
Gareth Bale has made the player list along with Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
Messi has won the Ballon D'Or for the past four years although he will be under pressure to retain it for a fifth year.
No player from Ireland, England, Scotland or Northern Ireland is represented in the final 23-man shortlist.
The winner of the Ballon D'Or will be revealed at a gala on January 13th, 2014 in Zurich.
