With concerns over Jonathan Sexton's fitness after yesterday's vital World Cup win over France, Ian Madigan could be in line to start this weekend after the Leinster man impressed off the bench during an all-action display.

That clearly took it's toll on him emotionally as he broke down in tears at full-time.

As expected his team-mates made sure to remind him about it and full-back and try-scorer Rob Kearney says that the squad were quick to bring Madigan back down to earth.

"The boys are calling him Gazza inside there at breakfast," he said.

"I think it was a day where he really stood up. We needed him to come and really take control of things and he did."
