The fixtures for the forthcoming Premier League season have been released.

Chelsea will start their Premier League title defence at home to Swansea. Jose Mourinho's side won last season's title for the first time since 2010.

The most high profile game of the weekend sees Tottenham travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

Two of the three newly promoted sides are at home on the opening weekend. Championship winners Bournemouth face Aston Villa and Norwich play Crystal Palace, while Watford start away to Everton.

Arsenal welcome Slaven Bilic's West Ham to the Emirates on the opening weekend in an all London derby.  After both teams survived last seasons relegation drop, Leicester welcome Sunderland on the first weekend.

Steve McClaren's tenure at Newcastle begins with a home tie to Southampton. After last seasons final day 6-1 loss to Stoke, Liverpool return to the Brittania for their first game.

Manchester City, who finished second in the league last year travel to The Hawthorns to face West Brom.

The first big clash of the season, happens in the second week as champions Chelsea head to Manchester City.

The season starts on the 8th of August.
