Rail users have been warned of major disruption over the bank holiday weekend.
Irish Rail is planning remedial work on the line that connects Wicklow to North County Dublin.
It means that anyone considering travelling on the Dart should consider making alternative travel arrangements.
On Newstalk Breakfast, Barry Kenny of Irish Rail said while Storm Austen had “no impact” on rail services this morning, commuters should expect disruption tomorrow.
“Saturday, Sunday and Monday were closed between Grand Canal Dock and Bray and between Howth and Howth Junction,” he said.
“Obviously, in the Dublin area, the TFI Leap Card is valid in other services and for the Dublin Rosslare service, there will be bus transfers between Dublin and Bray.”
In Limerick, major engineering work is taking place to bring the Foynes Freight Line into use.
“That means we’ve got to shut the signalling down in that area,” he said.
“So, all trains in and out of Limerick, between Limerick and Limerick Junction, Limerick and Ennis and Limerick and Ballybrophy, they will have bus transfers.”
