Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson has had praise heaped on him by his team-mates.
The midfielder scored for the second successive game as he skippered the Merseyside outfit beat Burnley 2-0 at Anfield last night.
Daniel Sturridge says that Henderson's colleagues have been impressed with his performances in the absence of club captain Steven Gerrard.
“@JHenderson: Another good performance from the lads! Well done @d_sturridge great header! 👠https://t.co/sI5JZhnKYj” your goal was better!!

"We were talking together before about how well he's doing, and he's improving every game," said the England striker.
"He's took the responsibility on with the captain's armband. As I said, he's taken his game to the next level."
