Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is back in training.

The 25-year-old confirmed the news via his Instagram account which included a photo with captain Steven Gerrard.

Sturridge has been troubled by a string of muscular injuries this season and last featured in early September.

The England international netted 21 Premier League goals last season.
