Steven Reid was at the centre of controversy in the final minute of injury time against Chelsea.

The West Brom right back was running to prorect the ball in his own box as the Baggies held a 2 - 1 lead at Stamford Bridge.

But he did not count on Chelsea midfielder Ramires running straight into him and falling to the floor.

He also did not count on the referee blowing his whistle and awarding a penalty that would rescue Jose Mourinho's unbeaten home record.

Reid was on Off The Ball tonight and he told Joe Molloy that he is still smarting from the strange decision.

"In that instance, the natural thing was to keep running and not to run across [Ramires]," said Reid of the incident.

"I didn't lift my arms or barge into him. He went to ground too easily. I thought Ramires would get booked for simulation or diving. I didn't think that it would be a penalty in a million years. You can tell by the reaction of the players."

Reid expressed his disappointment to the referee after the game but was told to watch the game again. That has not helped according to the former Ireland midfielder.

"It made me even angrier to look at it again," he said, although manager Steve Clarke expressed his pride, despite the anger and disappointment in the dressing room as a famous win was cruelly snatched away.

Reid also discussed Mourinho's impact at Chelsea and what it is like to play against the current Blues team and also touched on Roy Keane, someone he bumps into quite often.
