Irish international Stephen Quinn has joined Reading on a three year deal after his contract at Hull expired.
The 29 year old played 28 times for Hull City in the Premier League last season before the club were relegated to The Championship. Quinn becomes the third Irish international at the club, joining Stephen Kelly and Simon Cox.
Speaking to the Reading website, manager Steve Clare said: ""Stephen is an unassuming player but has always caught my eye and, when I knew he was available, I targeted him quite early in the summer. His performances are always of a good standard and he is a talented, industrious, aggressive midfielder who can be influential in games".
Quinn also has the option of a fourth year at the club, after his three year contract.
