The managerial dream team of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane took the Boys in Green for their first training session at a sunny Malahide today.

We will be getting all the news and reaction from that session on The Football Show tonight, while South American football expert Tim Vickery will give the lowdown on the security issues which are plaguing the build up to next summer's World Cup in Brazil.

Roddy Collins and Stuey Byrne will be in studio for their weekly League of Ireland chat. This week, they will be talking about what League of Ireland players get up to in the off-season, especially for those who have to go on the dole, because they cannot find work.

Former Meath footballer and journalist Liam Hayes will be on the show to discuss his book Heffo - A Brilliant Mind: A Biography of Kevin Heffernan on the late Dublin GAA legend and describe some of Heffo's mythical team-talks.

And what was it like to play for Muammar Gaddafi's basketball team on the eve of the Libyan Civil War?

Nigerian-American journeyman player Alex Owumi signed for Benghazi side Al Nasr just months before the revolution - a team owned by the Gaddafi family.

Owumi will be on the show tonight to tell his story of Libyan players being beaten by Gaddafi goons, eating cockroaches in a flat without running water as violence raged on the streets and the dangerous escape out of the war-torn country.

Tune into Off The Ball from 7 pm tonight.
