Rob Elliot has been called into the Republic of Ireland squad for Sunday's final Euro qualifier with Poland.

The Newcastle keeper takes the place of the injured Shay Given, who was withdrawn from yesterday's game during the first half as Darren Randolph came on as a substitute. Randolph is expected to start in Poland.

Elliot has three Ireland caps to date and made four Premier League appearances for Newcastle last season.

Seamus Coleman and Marc Wilson are both expected to be fit for the Warsaw clash having missed last night's win over Germany through injury.
