Leinster and Ireland flanker Shane Jennings is to captain the Barbarians in what is expected to be his last game in professional rugby.

Jennings announced his intention to retire at the end of the season in February, and with the Barbarians due to play Ireland and England in the coming days, the flanker may only feature in the Thomond Park game on Thursday.

Former Australian head coach Robbie Deans, coaches the side for the two games, and he has named four Irish based players in the side for the Ireland game.
