Bastian Schweinsteiger seems to be settling into life at Manchester United with the consummate ease of a World Cup winner.
The Germany captain has been talking to German tabloid Bild about life at the club since signing at the start of the summer and home in on that fabled "English humour".
"The English have a special sense of humour. This I immediately experienced in the dressing room. As I walked with two plates while eating, suddenly a team-mate asked me 'Basti, what time is it?' – Hoping I would automatically turn my hand to look at my watch. That’s quite entertaining."
Perhaps, there is more modest interpretation of the word entertaining in German.
