Today’s Saturday Panel is made up of Irish boxing supremo Billy Walsh, All Ireland winner Jason Sherlock and comedian Jarlath Regan.

Ger will talk to the lads about the dangers of too much success early in an athlete’s career, and why certain venues seem to hold strange powers over some teams (or do they?).

After our panel we have coverage of all of today’s All-Ireland football qualifiers, with reporters at three of the games and live commentary coming from Carrick on Shannon as Donegal meet Laois and we wonder if we might see an early dethroning of football’s reigning champions.

Aside from that we have a hurling analysis panel with Christy O’Connor and Nicky English, and an interview with Aussie rugby legend Mark Ella, who discusses the presence of the Aboriginal people in Australian sport.
