Samoa's George Pisi has been handed a six-week ban following his dangerous tackle on Ireland's Tommy Bowe last Saturday.

The centre was found guilty of a tip tackle during the first half of the game, with the independent Disciplinary Committee ruling that the challenge had deserved a red card.

The ban means that the centre will miss the rest of Samoa's Autumn series and will also miss Northampton's Heineken Cup Pool 1 double-header against Leinster in December.
