Formula One team Mercedes have refused to comment on reports team principal Ross Brawn will leave his position at the end of the current season.
Brawn and Mercedes reportedly failed to reach an agreement on a suitable role for the former Ferrari technical director.
The team have previously indicated their two executive directors, Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe, will take over the running of the team in the future.
But they have not said when that will happen.
The final Grand Prix takes place in Brazil on November the 24th.
Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have had a solid if unspectacular season. The team has been closer to the front this season with five pole positions for Hamilton and three for Rosberg.
Both have also picked up race wins this season.
