Manchester United have tweeted that Wayne Rooney will be back for their match with A.I.K in Stockholm on August 6th.

The 27-year-old striker who is subject of transfer speculation at the moment did not travel with the rest of the squad on the remainder of their tour of Asia and Australia after picking up a minor hamstring injury.

Manager David Moyes insists that the club do not want to sell him.

United lost two of their first three pre-season games.
