Munster have confirmed winger Ronan O'Mahony suffered a fractured leg in Saturday's Guinness PRO12 win over Treviso.
As a result, the 27-year-old will miss the rest of the season with a fractured fibula.
Meanwhile back row Dave O'Callaghan is awaiting scan results on a knee injury which he also picked up over the weekend.
Billy Holland missed out on training with illness after he was a late withdrawal from last weekend's squad. John Ryan also misses out through illness.
In further bad news, number 8 Robin Copeland will undergo surgery after dislocating his shoulder while playing for the 'A' side in the British and Irish Cup final.
