Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has signed a new long-term contract.
The former Swansea boss has been rewarded for helping the club to secure a return to the Champions League for next season after guiding them to a second place finish in the Premier League.
The 41-year-old said that he is "humbled and privileged" by the faith that has been placed in him and says he is looking forward to building on the foundations that he has laid over the past two years.
Liverpool owners, the Fenway Sports Group, says that Rodgers is at the heart of what they are trying to achieve with the club.
