Roddy Collins has reportedly turned down the approach by Bohemians to return as manager at Dalymount Park.

The bottom side sacked Aaron Callaghan two weeks ago. Club captain and PRO Owen Heary is serving in a caretaker capacity.

Heary cannot take on the role full time as he does not have a UEFA Pro Licence which has left Bohs scrambling to find a fully qualified replacement for Callaghan.

But they will have to turn their attention away from first choice Roddy Collins who has chosen to remain in charge of First Division Athlone Town.
