Patrick Reed's win at The Barclays on Sunday night, secured his Ryder Cup spot as Rickie Fowler missed out on automatic selection.
Three dropped shots in the last four holes, saw Fowler finished in a tie for seventh place. He finished two shots behind second place, knowing a finish in the top-two would have guaranteed his place in his first Ryder Cup on American soil.
Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth topped the qualifying table with Phil Mickelson finishing in third place. Mickelson will play in his 11th Ryder Cup, matching Nick Faldo's all-time record.
Reed's win moved him up to fourth place, and will be joined by PGA Champion Jimmy Walker, Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson.
Brooks Koepka finished in sixth place in the qualifying table and is the only Rookie to qualify automatically for the team.

Captain Davis Love III has four wildcard picks for the team. Fowler, along with Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar are among the favourites to by picked for the event at Hazeltine next month.
Love is scheduled to pick three of his four wildcard picks after the BMW Championship on September 11th, with his final pick being announced on September 25th, days before the Ryder Cup begins in Minnesota.
America have failed to win the Ryder Cup since winning in Valhalla in 2008. It remains their only win since 1999.
