Champion jockey, Richard Hughes, is aiming to finish his career in style as he saddles third favourite Eagle Top in this weekend's King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Hughes has decided to call time on an illustrious career to focusing on training and will do so in just under 10 days time.

The 42-year-old has been booked to ride the John Gosden trained colt but all eyes will be on unbeaten Derby winner, Golden Horn.

Should Horn win he would become only the fourth horse to win the Derby, Eclipse Stakes and King George in the same season since the foundation of the Ascot race in 1951.

Installed as heavy favourite with the bookies, at a price of 4-11, Golden Horn is most certainly the horse to beat.

Elsewhere in the field is Snow Sky ridden by Adam Kirby and Postponed who will have  Andrea Atzeni on board.
