Manchester United are chasing the signature of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to a couple of this morning’s newspapers.

The France midfielder has been a star man for Saints this season as Ronald Koeman’s side have defied all the odds to sit third in the Premier League after 21 games.

Both the Irish Daily Star and Daily Express are suggesting a fee of approximately €30M for the 25-year-old, who signed for Southampton in 2008 from his only previous club, Strasbourg.

Schneiderlin made his competitive debut for France in last year’s World Cup.
