Rafael Nadal is on course for a 10th Roland Garros title after winning his semi final against Dominic Thiem in straight sets
The Spanish star triumphed 6-3 6-4 6-0 in relatively comfortable fashion on his favoured clay court surface against the 23 year old Austrian who is currently World No 7.
Nadal, who has nine French Open crowns to his name, will now face three time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka in Sunday's final.

That came after Wawrinka ended Andy Murray's run at the 2017 French Open as the World No 1 missed out on a place in the final.
He lost in five sets: 7-6 3-6 7-6 6-7 1-6.
