Italy's recent form leading into the World Cup has never been impressive but as expert Luca Ferrato told Richard and I on our latest Team 33 interview, the Italians should never be underestimated.

The BBC World Service, FourFourTwo and Gazzetta Dello Sport regular joined us on the line from Italia to preview his country's World Cup chances.

From the potential for Mario Balotelli to finally get it together to the increased zest of youth within the Azzurri ranks, Ferrato ran the rule over the 23-man squad.

He also gave his opinion on the potential for Italy to repeat their Euro 2012 adventures in Brazil and the style of play manager Cesare Prandelli has developed.
