Satirical comedy show The Savage Eye has released the Wild Nuns sketch that it claims RTÉ did not allow be aired.

In April, Savage Eye co-writer and co-star David McSavage threatened to protest outside RTÉ after certain sketches were banned from the series. He told the Ray D'Arcy show on Today FM: “I’m very angry... we’re supposed to be a secular society.”

The sketches depict nuns in what McSavage described as a “Diet Coke thing”. 

RTÉ are yet to comment in relation to the sketch.
