Police in Britain have confirmed they have opened a new investigation into football match fixing.
The British National Crime Agency says it's looking at allegations sent onto them by the newspaper, Sun on Sunday that a player said he could arrange getting a yellow card in the Championship in exchange for thousands of pounds.
In a statement, the National Crime Agency said: "The NCA can confirm that the Sun on Sunday has passed material from its own investigation to the National Crime Agency.
"An active NCA investigation is now under way and we are working closely with the Football Association and the Gambling Commission. We cannot comment further at this stage."
Chief Executive of the football league - Shaun Harvey - says they're giving their full assistance to the investigation.
