Juventus stand on the brink of Champions League semi-final for the first time since

It is an important step for the Bianconeri who have dominated Italian football in recent seasons.

But the next step as they look to return to the European football's top table will have to involve selling their best player Paul Pogba as The Irish Times' Rome correspondent Paddy Agnew explained on Off The Ball

"I don't look at Pogba as part of Juventus' long-term plans and the climb back to the top of European football because one thing Juventus have done is they are the only Italian club that work off a serious business plan. But part of there business plan is to limit their debts all the time," said Agnew.

"Therefore with Pogba, who I'm pretty certain will go to another big club this summer for a figure around €80-100M, they're going to cash in on him and they're going to invest in younger players in Italian football. Whether that gets them to the top of European football or not, I don't know. But what it does to is continues to create a club which manages it's books, does not over-spend and above all, have got the only decent football stadium in all of Italy."
