While Jurgen Klopp was frustrated after Liverpool couldn't hold on for a win at Tottenham, the Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino felt the result was fair.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the match, the Argentine was satisfied after an entertaining 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.
His side fought back after conceding a 43rd minute goal as Danny Rose equalised with 18 minutes left to play.
"I think it was a fantastic game - a really fantastic game to see," he said.
"I think the fans and the people enjoyed the game but I am very pleased with the effort. We played a very good team like Liverpool with great players. I think in the end it was a fair result."
He added that he was "happy with the performance" and that Spurs and Liverpool have similar aims of winning trophies and challenging this season.
