Thanks to the two-legged results over Bosnia in the Euro 2016 playoffs, Irish fans have plenty to look forward to in 2016. 

We did get landed with a tough European Championship group but with some hope of making it into the first knockout round if all goes well.

Former Ireland and Chelsea defender Paddy Mulligan joined Oisin Langan on the Rewind to look at the concerns and challenges for Martin O'Neill heading into an important six months before the first game against Sweden in Paris and he picked the type of XI he would like to see in that match before the build-up gives us a clearer indication of the manager's thoughts on squad selection:
